Americas Best Value Inn Room Review from Jefferson City, Missouri
1 of 2

The absolute worst hotel experience EVER! Not even fit for a dead animal. I stayed at the Inn on North Glenstone in Springfield, MO. I reserved two nights online. Within 6 hours of check in, 4 of those hours I was gone, I was put in 3 different rooms. I requested a different room initially because of standing water in the tub; I should also mention the broken furniture and a hand towel which was stained (now I beleive it wasnt clean at all!).... Worst hotel in the world and we should know, we have stayed in 100's of them. They never lock any door and there are unlimited hours for NOISE. I mean unlimited traffic, constant visitors, homeless people wandering in creepy back door stairways, drug addicts and their dealers, running, yelling and they beat and hammer on walls, drag furniture and even kids yelling in front of my door at 2am. Nothing is EVER done about any of it. My favorite part... Read more

While traveling enroute to our new home, we used hotels.com to locate a hotel to stay in with our dogs and birds, due to a shortage of vacancies and no other pet friendly hotels, we were directed to America's Best Value Inn in Oklahoma City, OK. We requested a non-smoking room on the ground floor, well, we got the second part but the first was sadly missed! We got a room that smelled of room deodorizer, bodily fluids, and a vast array of other... Read more

I booked a room for one night. I wasn't expecting a four-star hotel. But hoped for the bare essentials. I had no running water in the bathtub due to faucet broken, someone next door bashing something up against the wall, and semen stains on the bed linens. The pictures of the rooms on their website look alright but what they offer is nothing like the pictures. It's very misleading. I checked out within two hours. The Desk Clerk didn't offer... First, this hotel claims to be the an Airport Hotel, but it is 8 miles away in a region that is considered one of the most violent of NJ. It cost me $ 35 to get a taxi because the courtesy van was not available when ordered. After the very first uncomfortable night and continuous noises in the hallway, fights and people talking (inside room you can hears all the other rooms and hallway), I left the hotel for an appointment at a company in... I had to travel from the western mountains of North Carolina to central Illinois on short notice due to my mom having a heart attack the night before Mother's Day. After 8 hours of driving, I stopped in Kimball, Tennesee at an "America's Best Value" motel, sick as a dog due to heat and no a/c in my car. The bottom line is, it was the filthiest room I had ever seen, and I travel quite a bit. Also, shower head leaked all over bathroom... Read more

We attempted to stay at this hotel but could not because it was disgusting and made me want to vomit. They expect us to pay for hotel rooms with duct tape holding the carpet down, wasps nests on the ceiling, and mold in the tubs. The bedding was threadbare and the carpets and furniture were stained. The toilet was running without having been used. The manager told us that she was giving us a military discount. She said the rooms were $59.99... Read more

Americas Best Value Inn - Terrifying Rooms
1 of 3

We stayed at Americas Best Value Inn during our visit to Ft. Jackson, SC for our youngest son's graduation from drill school. We have five sons and they all have been or are still in the service. So we have travel many times during the past 25 years. And we can say that we have never stay anywhere including in Germany that was as scary as this place was. We know that the star rating was not great and the price was average. But this place... Read more
